The Festival is set for May 12 from 6 pm to 10 pm and for May 13 from 10 am to 10:30 pm. The countdown references the time until the beginning of the festival.
The Duck Race happens promptly at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 13th.

Airport Marine Donates Replacement
The Buck Creek Festival Committee extends a great big Thank You to Ken Hollis and Jim Hicks of Airport Marine for the donation of a boat to replace the boat that was vandalized about two weeks ago. Thieves stole the pontoons off of the boat used by the Festival to launch the ducks for the rubber duck race. When thieves left the Festival boat high and dry, the Committee was unsure as to whether or not we would be able to have a duck race this year. But thanks to the generosity of Mr. Hollis and the help of Mr. Hicks at Airport Marine, we have a new boat - that is, new to us because it was one that had been traded into Airport Marine. This boat is actually slightly bigger than the old boat, so it will be able to accommodate the "duck dumper" that is used to get the approximately 3,000 ducks into the creek for the race.

2015 Festival "Best of the Best"
The Buck Creek Festival was recognized by the Shelby County Reporter as the Best of the Best in the two areas. First, we were "best of the best" as an annual festival in the Arts and Culture category. We were also rated as the best Festival Fundraiser. This is great news for all of the volunteers who work to make the festival a success. And it really motivates us to keep working hard to make the 2016 festival event even better.

Buck Creek Festival 2014 Magazine
The Buck Creek Festival is a free, family-friendly community event held on the second weekend of May in Helena's Amphitheater Park. On the banks of Buck Creek, just below the dam, the heavily wooded site together with the incredible stage provides a wonderful venue for people of all ages to enjoy crafts, children's activities, great food, and fabulous music. During the life of the Festival, over $253,000 has been returned to the community for a variety of projects that benefit all of Helena. Come join us !
